When 34-year-old Eduardo Morales became intoxicated inside a Georgia club this weekend, he was asked to leave. However, he returned, and when he did, he brought a gun.
Several bystanders at the 278 South Club sustained horrific injuries after Morales opened fire in the restaurant close to midnight on Saturday.
“When his weapon was empty, Morales then drove [his Dodge Ram 2500] into the bar through the front doors striking numerous patrons,” officials said.
Apparently, the man’s truck became stuck, and other club members prevented him from reloading his firearm.
“We’ve always put our customer’s safety first and foremost and we are devastated,” said a club spokesperson. “We like to believe most people are good… and it showed last night.”
One woman hit her head after a beam fell, and another woman’s legs were run over.
What other injuries did the patrons sustain, and what charges does Morales now face?
