How did a gunman in a ski mask open fire into this Harry Potter store?

A muggle got into some trouble at Manhattan’s Harry Potter store early Friday morning, authorities say. Police are now looking for the suspect who fired shots into the store at some point between 3 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Friday morning, sources say.

Apparently, the gunman caught the attention of the store’s security guard, who saw the ski-mask-wearing shooter standing by the front window.

“What’s up now?” the man apparently taunted before he shot into the glass.

He was said to have taken off in a black Mercedes Benz.

The store he targeted spans 20,000 square feet and three stories. What else do we know about this strange incident?
