INVESTOR INSIGHTS – Gold Surges
Gold surged higher yesterday.
Why?
President Trump made new nominations to the Fed Board.
One of the nominees is a conservative economist Judy Shelton.
She previously said that if appointed, she would lower interest rates to 0% (in 1-2 years).
As soon as the news hit, gold spiked $10 from $1,425 to $1,435 in minutes.
But think gold is due for a break. We are getting very close to putting on a quick trade and shorting gold.
YOUR SILICON VALLEY (LIBERAL) OVERLORDS
On Tuesday, a large portion of the internet broke.
The culprit was Cloudflare. The company provides internet security to 16 million websites. It keeps sites secure and speeds up loading times. But when it has an issue, so do all of its websites.
If you went to Shopify, Dropbox, Nest, or any number of other websites, you most likely ran into “502 Gateway Error” between 9:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
Cloudflare’s chief technology officer said the service’s outage was caused by a “bad software deploy that was rolled back.”
And he added he was incredibly sorry.
This is a great reminder the Internet is a fragile place...
TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME
Major Biden fundraiser pulls support.
Why?
Poor debate performance.
The fundraiser’s name is Tom McInerney. And he is a veteran San Francisco lawyer.
On June 20, he informed Biden’s team he can no longer help him raise campaign cash.
“I would imagine I’m not alone,” said McInerney.
Biden is not off to a great start…
TRUMP IS WINNING
President Donald Trump and Republican National Committee has raised $105 million in the second quarter, the campaign announced Tuesday.
Brad Parscale, campaing manager said it was a “massive success”.
And “No Democrat candidate can match this level of enthusiasm or President Trump’s outstanding record of results.”
The campaign now has $100 million cash on hand.
